We discuss the difference between open-ended and closed-ended questions. Open-ended questions are those that allow for a wide range of responses and are often used to gather information. These questions often begin with phrases like "what" or "how". Closed-ended questions have specific answers and are often for approval or denial. These questions often begin with phrases like "did" or "do." We talked about the different purposes of each type of question and when it is most appropriate to use them.
