We had time to talk to one of the sponsors of Open Networking Summit (ONS), Inocybe. One of the challenges with open source in enterprise IT is complexity. Enterprise IT want standard repeatable and supported solutions. Conferences such as ONS generally focus on builders and service providers. 

There are a sprinkling of traditional enterprise vendors such as Dell and Juniper. Then there are companies such as Inocybe that focus narrowly on making open source easier to consume in networking. There's a lot to learn from the conversation about adopting and supporting open source in enterprise IT.
