Luke 1:25 NIV

Job – Lost everything. His family. His riches. All of it.  

Joseph – Sold into slavery by his brothers. Falsely accused.  

Moses – Adopted by people who were killing his people. Was asked to confront Pharoah who could have killed him at any moment. Asked to lead his people who were complainers and disobedient. And he was a stuttered.  

Esther – Married a womanizer. Someone who could kill her at any time. Her whole race threatened to be annihilated.  

David – Adulterer. Murderer. Liar.  

Sarah (Abraham’s wife) – Gave her servant girl over to her husband to make a baby so she could  “make it happen” what God had promised.

Job – restored & doubled the blessing  

Joseph – ran a country and reunited with his brothers and family  

Moses – brought the Israelites out of slavery  

Esther – rescued her people through her boldness and bravery  

David – was called “a man after God’s heart”  

Sarah – Mother of nations

Romans 8:28 NLT

Ezekiel 36:26 NLT

Exodus 3:11 NLT

4 Things That will help you in this Process of a Heart Transplant:

1. Guarding what’s coming into your heart not guarding people out of it.

2. Don’t try to love through a broken heart. When you love through a broken heart, you’ll see through brokenness, and you’ll break people.

3. Be aware of the symptoms of a blockage of the heart.

Think the worst about everyone and everything  

You can’t talk about it without a negative emotion

Isolation 

You can’t stand anyone. People annoy you. 

Not sleeping  

Worry

4. Heart surgery on the regular. The most important part of this journey with Jesus is tending to your heart.
