OpenAI says hackers accessed some internal data following a code security incident tied to the open-source software supply chain. The company told TechCrunch the breach was limited to employee devices and a small subset of internal repositories, with no impact on production systems, user data, or model intellectual property. Meanwhile, the Financial Times reports Anthropic has agreed terms on a reported $30 billion funding round at a $900 billion valuation.
