This weekend is "Teacher Appreciation Weekend" at Emerald Downs, and all state school district employees receive free admission with district I-D cards. Expecting dry weather on Saturday, the Emerald Downs jockeys will be introduced in the Paddock prior to the first race. An outstanding riding colony this year!



Washington Hall of Fame trainer Howard Belvoir is Joe & Vince's guest on this edition of "Horseracing NW." Belvoir doubled on the Emerald Downs Opening Day card and has many entrants for week #2. Racing is two days this week, Saturday and Sunday, first race each day at 2:00 pm. Bill Downes, weekly honors, selections and trivia too.
