Winston-Salem State University Professor Craig Richardson discusses research-based approaches to poverty and economic mobility in America.

The conversation discusses, among other things, barriers to buying a home that affect many people with lower incomes, including the unintended consequences of government policies. Dr. Richardson explains why home ownership (as opposed to renting a home) is important to building wealth and economic mobility.
