Dave Kuiper moved to Alaska in 1974 with his wife, Darlene, and worked in construction for more than 24 years. He served 14 years as senior pastor for Crosspoint Community Church and has been director of Alaska Medical Missions, a Faith-Based Community Initiatives Liaison, and Certified Pastoral Counselor and Life Coach. Dave serves on the board of the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness. He joins us today to discuss his work with the Safe Shelter program that offers a safe place for homeless Anchorage families to sleep during the cold months.
