When it comes to being a "working DJ's DJ", a name that sits at the top of many lists is the Bay Area's Cutso. With over 20+ years of DJ experience, the San Jose native has done everything from turntablism competitions with The Bangerz, being a tour DJ for Lyrics Born to being on-air talent for iHeartRadio's "Rebel Pop Radio". In addition to dropping regular DJ remix packs for working DJs across the globe, his production work led him to being one of the in house producers for The Jabbawockeez.
In this interview, Cutso talks about maintaining perseverance as a DJ, San Jose culture and nightlife, and playing music from problematic artists.
