The Developers' Bakery

OpenStreetMap with Said Turksever

Listen Later

It’s not just open source that we showcase on the Developers’ Bakery. Today we’ll talk about open data.

We’re glad to have on stage Said Turksever to talk about his experience with OpenStreetMap.

If you’ve ever built a product that displays a map, you know what we’re talking about. OpenStreetMap is a collaborative project to create a free and editable geographic database of the world. It relies on contributions from individuals to be up to date and reliable.

In this episode Said will tell us about his experience with OSM, how the community works, and how you can contribute as well.
