Episode 6: Operation B.L.U.E.

The big O' HALLOWEEN episode! We talk the debut of “Operation: B.L.U.E.”, our movie picks of the spooky season (some new, and some old and dirty… Chuck Norris), and also review TKO’s new anthology, “Tales of Terror.” Put your costume back on for the last hay-ride into comic book hell as we celebrate the greatest time of the year. The Revenge crew have dropped the first page of their creature-feature, action-adventure, web comic, “Operation: B.L.U.E.” If today was the year 1985 the elevator pitch would be: “Imagine the A-team (but as bad-o ladies) hunting down the giant mutant bear from Prophecy. A new page will drop every Friday night, free of course (as always). Later, there will be some “paid content” showing how this beasty sausage is made (gross). We gotta’ keep the lights on some how. Sample the creative process, mid-grind: Wow…. Would you look at all that… stuff. Just for one little page. Again, the new page (pg. #0) is already up and ready for consumption. A fun horror anthology just in time to cap off All Hallows’ Eve; TKO presents: Tales of Terror. Even though the book itself would be categorized within the horror genre, each individual story is presented as a “Tale of Terror” that dips a toe into a different sub-genre. So you get some sci-fi, some war and so on. Setting the classic TV vibe of Outer Limits or Twilight Zone with a diversity of characters, voices, and styles. The most beautiful thing about this anthology is the smorgasbord of styles. From the variations in writing voices to the execution of art in storytelling. Pre-orders are happening now only at TKO.
