A study published in Pediatrics reports that children and adolescents were exposed to buprenorphine, a medication used for the treatment of opioid addiction and acute pain. One of the co-author of the study, Rick Spiller of the Central Ohio Poison Center, will be discussing with us the reasons for these exposures and how to prevent them. He will also talk about the effects and the treatment of a buprenorphine overdose.
