👉 "It's high time for organisations to focus on being both For Profit & For Purpose", says Brianna MacDonald. Is this the best opportunity for Tech Startups to focus on doing good along with just earning profits and possibly look at the Corporate Social Responsibility/ ESG portfolios and responsibilities?
🤔 It's not something which organisations have still been doing with full transparency. Focusing on sustainability should not be a choice to exercise. Instead, it should become a moral responsibility for people sitting in the top leadership positions to focus on.
🗣️ We also discussed about the importance of empathy and a human centric approach while handling customers. No matter how much technology tries to replace the human skill, there is always going to be a need of a human element while interacting with the customer to keep it real. That's why there is a difference between Artificial Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence.
💁♂️ Brianna also stressed upon the importance of networking with like-minded individuals where you can try to do good and grow your startups together with others who might be in a similar situation to what you currently are in and who might be facing similar sort of challenges as you.
