If you’re wondering why, then you should know that Benjamin is currently aiming to unlock human talent by automating highly repetitive processing of complex documents using state-of-the-art AI. To do that, he co-founded lector.ai and has been its CEO since 2020. Before this adventure, he was a software developer at a Swiss fintech and developed apps for the healthcare industry. With a strong science educational background, Benjamin, or should we say Dr. Benjamin, has a Masters in Physics, as well as a PhD in Computational and Theoretical Biophysics from the Max Planck for Multidisciplinary Science, Göttingen (Germany). 

The conversation starts by laying the much needed foundations: What’s document automation and why is it important.
