Paul as an unbeliever was persecuting Christians, vehemently oppositing all things and everyone related to Jesus. We should expect to be persecuted as a priviledge and blessing from God, responding in love, just for believing in Christ. We need to stand firm in the faith, demonstrating to unbelievers and principalities our love for God.
