We don’t know about you, but sometimes we just want to be Oprah Winfrey, pottering around her garden in a loose white linen dress and oversized hat, picking avocados.

While that’s a pretty difficult dream to make a reality, we can get closer to becoming Oprah by knowing her story.

In this episode, we dive into the back story of one of television’s biggest stars.

You’ll hear about Oprah’s troubled childhood, her battles with trauma, how she got her start in television and her relentless push to help other women around her.

Oprah Winfrey was once described as a “four course meal”, and in a world of snacks, we have no choice but to simply salute this goddamn queen.
