When God created mankind he gave them dominion over the world he created. A result of this is that each individual has dominion over their own life.

Just like when we choose a car, we have options to choose from. How we live our lives is determined by the options we choose. God gives us the options of: light and darkness, good and evil, life and death.

The right choices lead to eternal life.
