Yesterday we talked about the reaction of the political leaders to this pandemic. I think it is not an exaggeration to say that their quarantine has been the most thorough we have ever seen in a modern industrial economy. Never before has such a large percentage of the economy, elected to remain home and self isolate.

The result of these policies is just now coming into focus. And over the next month we should get a very good idea of just how impactful this will be on our way of life.

Beginning today and tomorrow we will begin to see the March economic results unfold. And like a slow moving parade, day by day there will be a series of releases that will paint the picture of the economy.
