In this case we relate control to focus. Staying focused on what brings you joy helps the universe manifest it with you.  We are the creators of our reality so why not start creating one you love?  We get caught up in trying to control outcomes and that always leads to some form of disappointment and us caving into our own negative self doubts and judgements. Flip the switch! Affirm, affirm, affirm what you want, adding "this or something better for my highest good" and see what happens!
