Orange County Hardcore Scenester: Aftermath

Orange County Hardcore Scenester: Aftermath #133 - SceneStop #3 - Network Sound Records

Listen Later

In this SceneStop, we return to the Network Sound warehouse in Costa  Mesa, Ca, and we also see the warehouse New Age Records inhabited when  Network Sound was dissolved.

Network Sound was a combination of New Age Records (run by Mike  Hartsfield) and Conversion Records (run by Dennis Remsing). New Age  released such bands as Unbroken, Redemption 87, and Strife. Conversion  Records released Process, Face Value, and Yuckmouth.    As a joint label, Network Sound released such bands as DRIFT AGAIN,  GAMEFACE and ASHES.

These videos are part of an ongoing video series chronicling the  hardcore punk music scene. They are an addendum to the film Orange  County Hardcore Scenester. This is a documentary I made that chronicles  the 1990s hardcore punk scene.   You can watch ORANGE COUNTY HARDCORE SCENESTER here:
