1 Timothy 2:8-15; God created the world with order. He made man and woman different and VERY good (Genesis 1:26-28). The world doesn't want to acknowledge, let alone celebrate, the differences between male and female. The biblical principle is: different roles, same value. Men are to lift up humble hands in prayer, appealing to God, rather than lifting up angry quarrelling hands. Jesus rightly valued women (in a culture that didn't) and the early church too, but some may have been saying, "look at me" by the way they dressed. Women's value is in Christ. Women are to be adorned in godliness, to display the glory of Christ rather than their external beauty.
