As 2020 comes to a close, more Oregonians are struggling to pay for their housing. This week on Beat Check with The Oregonian, reporter Jamie Goldberg talks about the challenges facing renters, homeowners and business owners. The state Legislature is expected to confront the issue in some form on Monday, the same day this episode is released. But their action now might only delay — not solve — a looming eviction and foreclosure crisis in 2021.
