We met when plaid bell bottoms, lunar landings and Deliverance were all the rage. Bill Withers allowed us to lean on him and Melanie had a brand new key. There was a reproduction 17th century square-rigged ship in our town's harbor, and a statue of King Massasoit on a hill overlooking the bay.
