The Oxford English Dictionary Word of the Year for 2016 was 'Post-truth'. At this time in history when truth is more open to interpretation and carries less value than ever before, it's understandable that we also start to question the truthfulness of our own beliefs. Is Christianity fundamentally true? Does it have any power to change things? And can we trust that it will change this for the better? These are the questions we explore in this first instalment of the series on Jesus' kingdom in the Gospel of Matthew.
