Dr. James Voos Dr. Voos is an Associate Professor in Orthopedic Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Director of the Sports Medicine Institute at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, and is the Head Team Physician of the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. Dr. Voos completed his medical degree at the University of Kansas in 2004; completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency follow by a Sports Medicine Fellowship in 2010 at the US News & World Report #1 ranked “Hospital for Special Surgery in New York” where he was an assistant Team Physician for the New York Giants and WNBA New York Liberty. Before coming to Cleveland in 2014, Dr. Voos was the Team Physician for the Kansas City Chiefs and Head Physician for the Kansas City Ballet. He has published over 50 scientific articles and book chapters on topics such as ACL reconstruction, shoulder instability and hip arthroscopy. Dr. Voos has a passion for advancing the safety and education of athletes with expertise in the use of wearable technology, development of injury prevention programs and sports performance. Dr. Voos’ wife is a neonatologist at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. They have 3 young children, Kalli, K.C. and Klara. Please enjoy with Dr. James Voos!
