Walter Turner speaks with Oscar Lopez Rivera who was incarcerated for 35 years for his role in fighting for Puerto Rico’s independence. President Barack Obama [1] commuted López Rivera's sentence and he was released from prison on May 17, 2017, after 35 years in prison.
