In Part 2 of this two-part series, Kristina and Melina discuss the details of Reeva Steenkamp’s death. While Oscar Pistorius admitted to killing his girlfriend, his motive was unclear. Authorities state that Pistorius murdered his girlfriend in cold blood.  But Oscar claimed that he believed Reeva was an intruder, and that he was simply trying to protect them. Oscar was charged with premeditated murder, but he plead not guilty by reasons of putative self-defense. Both the defense and the prosecution laid out extremely compelling evidence, making it even more difficult to discern where the truth lay. Is Oscar a cold and calculating murderer? Or was Reeva Steenkamp just a victim of circumstance?
