What is an osprey you may ask?! An osprey Also known as Pandion haliaetus, historically known as sea hawk, river hawk, and fish hawk.  Many places around the world the osprey is considered to be endangered. One of the most endangered areas the Osprey are located is in Southern Australia. Alyssa from the United Stated an osprey enthusiast along with Fan Solly. Fran Solly from Southern Australia Discovered birds in early 1980s. Fran became involved with osprey through Port Lincoln Osprey in 2017.  For all my fellow Osprey enthusiast, understand the importance of protecting these magnificent Raptors.
