We Who Remain is an avant-garde mythic sci-fi epic blending cyberpunk, dark fantasy, and myth. Set across a divided world where neon cities rise from collapse and ancient gods still shape the land, the story follows six wounded strangers pulled into a conflict between two godlike sisters—one fighting to preserve balance, the other determined to erase it.

The series is rooted in questions of identity, faith, survival, and what it means to rebuild after everything familiar has fallen apart. Coming from a background in film and television, Ikhile brings a distinctly cinematic approach to worldbuilding, with sweeping environments and emotionally driven stakes. He’s joined by the Marvida brothers—artist and letterer Mark Marvida and colorist Marvin Marvida—whose work grounds the scale of the story in something raw and human.
