Week 25:
For this week I focused on adding layers and elements. And I also wanted to experiment with the new Roland suite of VST and I choose to dedicate this track to use mainly the classic SH-101.
Lots of automation are happening with the arpeggiator on the SH101: VCF frequency, VCF Resonance, Decay as well as Having different midi patterns for the same instrument going on throughout the track. I’ve got about 4 variations (intro, intro B, build up and the full version). That allows me to have more control on tweaking things (as long as I name the clips properly). As you might hear, the CPU usage is pretty high as well, I believe it to be because of the Roland VST which see to be pretty demanding compared to the Ableton stock instruments. Sorry about that!
Hope you’ll like it.
