In Part 1 George gets into his journey, family life growing up, school and grad school, becoming a doctor, starting his own family, divorce, struggles with addiction and almost losing the ability to practice.  George is now almost 14 years sober and is helping others by sharing his story,

The medical community can be a place that when people are struggling personally, they tend to really keep quiet.  It's huge having people like George be a voice and let people know you can ask for help, things will be okay.
