Compilation of my commuting for for November. Starting to get chilly! Also featuring an outing to Gatineau at 00:13. The rest is mainly just cars being cars and a some commiserating with a fellow cyclist at 07:28.

Compilation of the protest again Bill 212 which would have the Doug Ford government rip out existing bike lanes to make room for more car lanes. The protest was at Château Laurier on November 5th while Doug Ford wat in the hotel. He sneaked in from the side entrance. 🙄

Lots of speeches from the various organizations battling this. That is, Horizon Ottawa, Parkways for People, Ecology Ottawa, and Bike Ottawa.

Starting to catch up with my backlog. Here's the commuting for August when things were still warm and sunny!

Rally against the rather insane plan from the Ontario government to prevent and even remove bike lanes if they take away a lane from cars.

The first part is all speeches. I did my best to transcribe them but it was pretty hard to hear anything. The second part starting at 12:00 is the ride afterwards.

This ride was a protest on 22 October against the Ontario government promising to prevent new bike lanes from being constructed if it would take away a car lane and even going as far as ripping up existing bike lanes.

There was a remembrance of cyclists killed, followed by a critical mass style ride through down town.

This was an organized ride for 14 September organized with Happiness Habits 613 with the aim of getting people out there and live healthy and happy.

We stuck to dedicated bike infrastructure as much as we could and it was a lot of fun!

Compilation of the 13 July Critical Mass in Ottawa, starting at the War Museaum and going to the car-free (for the summer anyway...) Queen Elizabeth Drive where ice cream awaits us.

The crowd is a bit smaller than I expected. It was pretty warm though! Misting station on Queen Elizabeth Drive was nice!
