Recap: The Golden Knights hosted the Ottawa Senators for a pre-Thanksgiving matchup at T-Mobile Arena. Ottawa answered quickly into the game to take a 1-0 lead. Vegas pushed back and finally got on the scoreboard with minutes remaining in the period. With seconds left Ottawa regained their two-goal advantage.

Jack Eichel scored his 250th career NHL goal to get his team within one. Ottawa was awarded a late period power play opportunity which Vegas promptly killed off.

In his return from injury captain Mark Stone tied the game 3-3 with a crucial power play goal. After regulation the game needed an overtime and eventually a shootout to decide a winner.

The Golden Knights record drops to 10-5-8 falling to the Senators 4-3 in shootout. Next up, Vegas will welcome the Montreal Canadiens for an afternoon matchup on Black Friday. Puck drop against the Canadiens is scheduled for 1 PM.(Recap by Jason)

Analysis: VGK dug themselves a decent hole in the 1st but went to work the rest of the game to get themselves back in it. They completely shut down the Senators’ attack for the last 40 minutes and were able to get a cheap goal to tie it on the power play (after having many better chances on the previous ones).
