Did your parent ever rip off a Band-Aid? It would hurt for just a second but it sure beat the torture of slowly removing a well-stuck Band-Aid. Sometimes we are going through a storm and we feel like we are being tortured but Jesus reminds us to “Be filled with joy because I have overcome the world.” God cares for us and in order for him to increase, we must decrease. It may feel like a band-aid being ripped off but God’s got you. Trust Him.
