Dr. Hoby Wedler is an American scientist and entrepreneur. Blind since
birth, he is excited by everything life has to offer and has turned
blindness, something some may consider a disadvantage, into a huge advantage
through his chemistry, sensory, and advocacy work. Hoby earned his Ph.D. in
organic chemistry from UC Davis in 2016. Since then, he has become an
entrepreneur currently with three companies. Hoby's work focuses on sensory
innovation, experiences in the food and beverage industry, product
development, design, and more. Hoby also loves advocating for other
scientists and entrepreneurs who happen to be blind or low vision.
