Herod the Great died in 4 B.C. and the Census of Quirinius was held in A.D. 6.Matthew says Jesus was brought back from Egypt after Herod died. But Luke says the Census (years later) triggered Mary & Joseph’s trip to Bethlehem before Jesus was born. How do you reconcile this inconsistency?
