Im so delighted to have our Cheryl all the way from Ireland joining me on the podcast. 

Cheryl is a very important person in my life & has been from day one. For all of you that don’t already know, Cheryl’s Mummy Katrina & my Mummy Gráinne are Sisters which makes us first cousins, but in fact we’re so much more. Cheryl is my Sister from a different mister, my best friend & my wingman all rolled into one! We’ve been together since day dot & have had each others backs ever since. 

Sadly back in October 2004, Cheryl tragically lost her Big Brother Christopher, who was only 23 at the time to a freak accident whilst he was at work.  

Cheryl shares her story about her Brother & her fondest memories of their short time together. We reminisce it all, from his unique calmly demeanor, to his big loud hardy laugh & not forgetting that massively gorgeous infectious smile of his that could have brightened up the darkest of days! 

There is no doubt about it that my chat with our Cheryl was a very emotional one. Today being our Christopher’s anniversary, 17 years on, its still so very raw & painful for us to talk about. I suppose you could say that was the day our family fractured forever. 

Asking our Cheryl to relive the worst day of her life was never going to be an easy thing to do. I am so incredibly proud of the woman she has become & I know our Christopher would be beaming with pride from up there for his wee Sister. 

Christopher was a beautiful man who is without a doubt, the perfect angel, forever young and never forgotten. 

A man, a friend, a brother, a son, a grandson, a cousin and a hero!
