This passage is misunderstood in two ways:

1. Can be easily dismissed

2. Produces needless shame and guilt

Conclusion: Let God love you.

A standard doesn’t change the heart - a story does.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the love story you’ve been looking for and the love story that will transform your desires.

Single or married, you must know that Jesus’s love is the key to healthy relationships.

Demand others adjust to their needs | Commit to adjusting themselves for the relationship
