Merry Christmas! This week we are sharing our favorite family Christmas traditions. We start with some funny stories about our family traditions, including ugly Christmas sweaters and tree hunting in the backyard.   Some Christians argue against celebrating Christmas because of its "pagan roots." We believe that it's important to remember and celebrate the first advent of Jesus Christ, which encourages us to look forward to His second coming with great hope. We encourage you to enjoy giving and receiving gifts, while being purposeful about celebrating the birth of Jesus. We also talk about how we can be intentional in teaching our children the true meaning of Christmas. We share our recommendations for family advent devotions, some opportunities to give gifts to children in need, and some of our favorite Christ-centered Christmas music.
