Alison Kasner discusses how a community of retired CCSD employees and others helped her form, Our Giving Circle. It’s a community organization supporting grassroots nonprofits through collective giving. The group meets every other month to bring their donations, share ideas, discuss their next recipient, and break bread together. St Rose Dominican/Dignity Health was the recipient of their recent donation.
