To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.
1 Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness!
2 O men, how long shall my honor be turned into shame?
4 Be angry, and do not sin;
6 There are many who say, “Who will show us some good?
8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep;
Psalm 4
Central Idea: In difficult times, our hearts should reach out to our God, redirect our persecutors, and rejoice in our Lord.
I. Reach out to our God (v. 1)
II. Redirect our persecutors (vv. 2-5)
III. Rejoice in our Lord (vv. 6-8)
