I have been thinking a lot about my mortality and legacy. As someone on the verge of 40 and in decent health, this may seem like an odd thought exercise, but for me it has felt necessary. The essay I am sharing today, “Our Lives Are But A Moment,” is a confrontation with those thoughts. I hope they will give you something to ponder over when considering your own life.
