Continuing our series on militarism and our climate crisis, this week we speak with Lorah Steichen about the intersection of militarism, climate change and immigration. Steichen is the Outreach Coordinator for the National Priorities Project at the Institute for Policy Studies, a project that produces research and analysis on the federal budget and militarized spending. She is also co-author of “No Warming, No War: How Militarism Fuels the Climate Crisis – and Vice Versa,” a broad study published last year by the National Priorities Project.
