Julia graduated from Cornell University in 2020 with a bachelor's in Fashion Design having led an independent study into adaptive fashion. After graduating into the pandemic, she began teaching in special education with autistic students and saw how clothing could help her students. She saw how sensory needs were affecting her students' learning and Julia knew she could use her expertise in fashion to design a line of adaptive clothing to help them stay regulated. That is when she created Sense-ational You.
