Certain things in this world can be precious to us. Time can be precious. Material objects can be precious. Thoughts and attitudes hidden deep in our hearts may seem precious to us. When we consider all that this world has to offer, there is nothing more precious than faith in Jesus Christ.

Peter addressed his second letter to " those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours" (2 Peter 1:1). ). Peter was specifically chosen by Jesus himself to be the one to explain this precious faith. We have the same faith as Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. I don't know if we could place that on our resume in this world, but it certainly exists in the realm of God. Anyone who receives Jesus now has a precious faith that transcends anything this world has to offer.
