Understanding the dynamics of violence will guide our conversations, actions, and interventions about interpersonal, family, and organizational violence. We need to have conversations about family violence with each other and within our homes and communities. It is always easy to say, "there is nothing I can do" It is always easy to identify someone to blame when violent incidents occur. It is always easy to remove ourselves. Interpersonal, family, and organizational violence directly or indirectly affects us and carries massive health and economic cost. And the loss of life depletes the social and human capital of nations.
