Revelation 7:9-16

There are plenty of “talkers” in this world. People who talk a big game but don’t follow through with their actions. We’ve been victims of the “talkers” and we’ve maybe been the “talkers” ourselves sometimes, talking the talk but not walking the walk.

But on Good Shepherd Sunday we get to focus on Jesus, our Shepherd who put word into action and got down into the sheep pen with us. Jesus talked the talk and walked the walk. He is the Shepherd who has become the Lamb to free us from sin and take us out of this life of tribulation to an eternity of joy gathered around the Shepherd/Lamb’s throne in heaven.
