Our Sorrow. Maybe I've got it all wrong. Maybe we are a healthy society. Our politicians keep telling us everything will be all right. Some are saying this country is headed for a second civil war. There can never be peace when we have children killing other children in schools. Maybe we should have accepted our mistakes, that we could never remove our debt by consuming more. We left behind our connection to the natural world for a pocket full of worthless profits. We thought we could own this land, but you never own anything you just borrow it for a while. We thought we could control time and money. Our sorrows and failures.
