In this deeply personal episode, I reflect on the journey that gave birth to the LoTus M Mighty podcast — a journey rooted in love, advocacy, healing, and the courage to use my voice.

What began as a desire to inspire others became something even more meaningful: a path of internal transformation, growth, and purpose. This podcast has not only been a space for empowerment, but also a place where I have done some of my deepest healing.

I share the story of my youngest son — my miracle — whose diagnosis and open heart surgery at just two and a half months old forever changed me. Sitting beside him during his most vulnerable moments, I made a promise to him. I promised that I would protect him, that I would always see his worth, and that I would advocate for his safety, dignity, and beautiful quality of life.

That promise continues to guide me today.

Through the challenges our family has faced, I have learned that advocacy is not born from anger, but from love — fierce, unwavering love. I have learned that our hardest moments can shape us into stronger, more compassionate versions of ourselves. And I have learned that using my voice is not only how I protect my child, but how I help create change for others.

This episode is also my heartfelt thank you to this incredible community. Your messages, your encouragement, and your kindness have carried me in ways you may never fully realize. You remind me daily that none of us are alone.
