In Isaiah 33:22 we read that the Lord is our judge, lawgiver, and king. That is the foundation of the three branches of the U.S. government today, the judicial, the legislative, and the executive branches. Our government wasn't built around 1780's ideas. Instead it was built around timeless ideas regarding human nature, with checks and balances built in to limit human nature from running us off the rails and destroying the nation.

Did you know that our U.S. government is now the oldest government of any country on earth? There are older countries, but they have gone through verious forms of government, making ours the oldest in the world.
