Here is a crazy piece of American history that rarely is told. After The Civil War just over 20,000 Black people were placed in a concentration camp in  Natchez, MS. Not many people know of this story. I've heard that peaches grow out there and no one eats them because the locals know the history of the area. As always I encourage people to look this stuff up.
